July was a busy month! Some of us met in real life at events like Short Short Fest and the Toronto Meetup, while all of us got to enjoy every day together on NG. The GMTK Jam juiced the games category, while Punch Punch Forever introduced a new favorite series.

Another great month of games: congratulations to all of the game developers who won and participated! As usual, my rankings are in my news post here!

As said, there were definitely a lot of interesting gems from the GMTKJam! Obvious favorites were CRAB JUICE from @RowanFuture 's great team and UVSU (pronounced you-versus-you) from @dietzribi which were featured in The Best of GMTK, with another one of my favorites being BACKBONE'S RAMPAGE from @TheBlueHatted which I'm glad to see get in the top 5! I was a little harsh on it in my review since it was a rough draft, but I think it has tons of potential for future development due to great punchy fundamentals. That's just how it is with a beat-em-up bias: the love for the genre makes me both very critical and dreamy-eyed at the same time, haha!

As usual, make sure you check out the demos like GIMMIKO to give 'em as much feedback as possible for that future release, and check out demos for released games like The Adventures of Bluke Bifton to maybe give 'em some cash! Heck, check everything out if you can!
