when I first discover Roblox I was only annoyed that all the cool stuff was locked behind a paywall
i don’t have any experience with pedos or other types of bad people on Roblox
Roblox is a great platform but with missed potential .

I could never get Roblox to run on my cheap ass Best Buy PC. And by the time I finally got a PC fit for gaming, I'd discovered LittleBigPlanet and didn't care about trying to get Roblox to run. Then eventually LBP got the spiritual sequel called Dreams and there were a lot of Roblox-inspired levels in it actually.
I think there's a fully 3D Pokemon fangame engine and also a Boku no Hero inspired arena fighter in Roblox, so that's cool at least.

I joined Roblox in 2011, I'm shocked to see that the most played game has gone from having 30 million plays, to 20 BILLION+ plays in 2023. I'm amazed to see how far the platform has grown.

Weird people aside, Roblox only has like, 5 games I actually want to play
A lot of Roblox games are obvious bait to get children to spend their parents' money on microtransactions, hell some games charge you way too much if you just want to skip one level

it's mostly because roblox had a scam bot crisis 2018-2021 (which btw is the reason to why roblox reached 2 billion players) who would constantly join games n stuff

There are very rare times where developers will set aside their greed to make a quality project, such as Tunneler or Blox Cards (the only card game on roblox that actively tries to be its own thing rather than copy something that already exists)
As of recent times, roblox has started to allow people to upload accessories to the catalog and jesus christ, all of this stuff people are uploading is a copyright nightmare. You have people directly ripping assets from other games, or just uploading straight up PNGs of people...

I used to play Epic Minigames and Flee the Facility on there a lot. I was already slowly getting bored of Roblox and was probably gonna delete it anyway at some point, but I just took the oppurtunity to delete it recently after I got banned for 1 day for saying the world "Child".

Another thing wrong with Roblox is that it can be boring, lets say you play games like Arsenal or Rise of Nations, it becomes fun, but at what cost, after like an hour it just becomes tiresome. I probably did a horrible explanation on this but then again i’m bad at explaining shit. I like Roblox, but it needs more variety.
