Had to stop using dog early on because it had too realistic sounds and I couldn't deal with the animal abuse even when it was just pixels. In survival also the poor dog was constantly on downed state and it didn't work well with me. So traveled around either with that ghoul or x6, or alone.
Otherwise I like the dog, but its whimpering just always cut. I have always had German Shepherds (or Newfoundland dogs) and too much realism is not always good, especially in a game with a lot of shooting and NPC pathing fail jumps from heights.
