As Newgrounds contains sections for all of the base arts (Music, Art, Games) it would be at least appropriate to include the most basic of them all. I'm aware that there is the writing forum, but users use it mostly like the other forums (questions, suggestions etc) instead of actually sharing stuff. What do you think? Has this question been explored before?

Many many times, search for "writing portal" for some of the topics.
There is a plan to make one at some point but its low priority.
