Asking for Game REVIEW Medival Fantasy RPG

Hey Newgrounds!

I’ve just released my new game, "Draconic Region: MENARK", and I’d love for you all to check it out! It’s a medieval fantasy RPG with some cool retro-style gameplay and roleplaying elements.

i'll play it a bit and write down the pros and cons.

pros:

1. sensible screen size
2. a way to fix getting stuck
3. some of the missing information issues can be fixed by just adding more info to the description

cons:

1. you may need to change the font or how it's rendered to match the numbers' font (though it's at least legible) and there are too many odd symbols showing up in the middle of the text (could be my graphics card though)
2. no information on if/what are the pros and cons of each race, nor on what each stat does. eg: what do i need CHM for? do i want to invest in INT early on for whatever reason (negotiation, quest payment) or do i want to hold it for when i have spells to cast?
3. the message about the game taking control of the pointer showing up constantly gets old fast (does the engine provide no better way to prevent cursor escape?)
4. no way to farm exp without dying (being swarmed by monsters you take too long to kill when you have no gear in the easiest area)
5. inspect dialogue/button doesn't work on doors (needs to be fixed or removed)

conclusion: it's the kind of game i'd like to play, but you have a bit of polishing ahead of you...
