Yesterday 843 individual Supporters participated in Takeover Tuesday by featuring something on the front page!

Takeover Tuesday is a new weekly event, where every Tuesday, anyone who is a Supporter will have the ability to feature one movie, game, art or audio on the front page.

The archive page is currently in the works and will appear as a link under the Artist News box, along with another Takeover Tuesday surprise.

Monthly Voting

Voting is in progress for the Best of September and winners will be announced on Monday, October 14th! Between Monday and Tuesday, next week will be off to an exciting start.

If you missed the Best of August, we overhauled our voting system and introduced categories for art and music.

Halloween Spooktacular

Our Halloween Spooktacular is in progress and we’d love more sponsors to increase the prizes!

If you have the means and love Halloween, donate on our Supporter page and PM me a heads up you donated towards the Spooktacular. You can also specify which category.

Throughout all this, lots of under the hood changes continue to roll out. If you noticed some brief downtime earlier, it was that!

This is pure speculation, but I feel at least a few of those were brand new supporters, who wanted to get in on the action

You're a master of surprises, Fulp - I don't think anyone correctly predicted what Takeover Tuesday was gonna be, and I don't think anyone's gonna correctly predict what you've got up in store next.

I did have a review which got cockblocked by downtime - I wasn't bothered at all (I quickly saved it to Notepad when I realised what happened), but thanks for the explanation.

Ignoring my record of incorrect predictions for now, I'm gonna assume its simple performance improvements, bugfixes and other such maintenance work - you'd be hard-pressed to notice that kinda shit unless you directly benefit from it.

Doesn't pretty much almost every direct payment site like paypal blacklist newgrounds for porn and gory content anyways? Toms hands are tied for a lot of things.

Dunno about PayPal specifically (EDIT: No, not PayPal) but NG has seen plenty of blacklisting over the years, this is just overall how things shook out, I personally think it’s the best solution!
