In case you've been living under a rock, MUGEN is a freeware game that lets you customize it in many ways, as well as having thousands of different characters and stages to download and play. So if you ever wanted to see Underdog duke it out with Superman, or Homer Simpson fight against Peter Griffin, you can do it with MUGEN! I've done some fighters for MUGEN before (which are just half-ass spriteswaps of existing fighters, since they were made when I was pretty young), but nowadays I just make stages. So, do you remember MUGEN?
I haven't heard that name in years. I played a few times, made a bunch of incomprehensible piles of sprites I called characters, and it was fun. But just like Gmod, you can grow tired of having to be the one to pull the cart every single time. And to be honest, when I played Gmod for the first time, I never came back to MUGEN. Maybe I'll revisit it someday.

I've never gotten tired of MUGEN since I play it if I got nothing else to do. And my old "characters" I've made were spriteswaps of other people's characters. I've made several punching bags as well (which were also spriteswaps). You can see a bunch of my unoriginal creations duke it out here:

I'll admit, some of them are pretty good despite them being spriteswaps, with the exception of YTP Sexer Buzz, who was made using Kung Fu Man as a base. I might release him as he is one of these days. The stage they're on is included in this stage pack you can download. My more newer stages you can get here.

Yeah, I used to have a ton of characters downloaded but the drive with them in it died. Every so often I get the urge to make a character or two but I've never gotten around to it. I kinda wanna go back to it one day, at least maybe the one with netplay.

I still like coming back to it here and there. Never cared much for playing, I just liked watching the cpus beat the shit out of each other

Yeah, I liked using Watch Mode, too. If you have the 4V4/3V3 patch, you can have four or three CPUs beat each other up!
