I want to have a thread about funny or witty self deprecation jokes about animation or animators. Such as how animation is seen by the general public as for example posted above. What else you got you've seen in various other animated works? I'd love to hear it.

I honestly groan every time one of those self-deprecating art / animation jokes happens in a cartoon, but maybe I just grew out of terminal cynicism. The general audience won't know the exact context and circumstances so it's just animators winking at each other, unaware that repeating an idea often enough - even with sarcastic intention - may perpetuate it.
