I doubt this would actually happen unless Johnny or Tom signs something however I'd like to discuss this idea with yall, like "if it's live action who would be casted" or "what would it even be about" etc, I'd like to even cast out ideas like "how it would suck" cause that's a big thing with adaptations, love to hear what yall say.
Funny enough, 10 years before making the Madness: Project Nexus cinematic trailer, I worked with Tom to make a live-action Newgrounds series called "Newgrounds: The Forsaken City" via KickStarter.
The video below is our KickStarter campaign video, is actually a first-person TANKMEN short film set in the same world the web series would have been in. Our plan was to have Pico, Piconjo, Darnell, Nene, Hank (Madness), Tank Men, Mastermind, Alien Hominid, Dad'n'Me, and a bunch of other NG classics play pivotal roles in an epic 9-part story that sadly never made its goal!
Coming back nearly a decade later to make the Madness Cinematic Trailers was such a blast!
Hope you enjoy this Tank Men short film, and the look at what could have been a really epic live-action web series!
