I know top ten lists are lame and overused, but I want to see how much everyone knows about martial arts in general. If you wish, you can display why you chose certain styles to go where they are after your list.
Your top ten lists should be based on technique, principles, and philosophy...not on "I saw some guy with such-and-such style beat up a whatchamacallit style guy."
The object of this isn't to offend people, so be polite and have a discussion...not an argument.
My personal MA top 10:
10) Capoeira
9) Aikido
8) Hapkido/Tae Kwon Do
7) Baguazhang
6) Muai Thai
5) Eight Drunken Immortals
4) Wong, Chen, or Wu style Taijiquan
3) Okinawan Karate
2) Ninjutsu
1) Shaolin and its derivatives (Choy Lee Fut, Wing Chun, 5 Animals, Arhat, Praying Mantis, Eagle Claw, etc)
*Note* This list does NOT include basic skill sets such as Chin Na, Chi Sao, or Push Hands. Nor does it include so-called masterwork styles such as Dim Mak, Iron Palm, Iron Shirt, Iron Body, Iron Head, Iron Crotch (yeah, that's right), Red Sand Palm, Bamboo-Parting Kung, etc.
