I have flash 5 but i want flash 4 just to use on the side, does anyone know where i can get it, I already have the crack but some places you can't download it anymore, please help

I'm pretty stupid I guess but what is the difference between flash 4 and 5 isn't flash 5 better?

Flash4 is a lot easier, simply, and the artistic side of the interface may be a bit better...though I like both of them.

he's right....unless your planning on abusing every inch of the actionscript of flash 5 you mightas well stick with 4.....ive only just come to realise the potential of the code in flash 5 and have found that the #5 scripting may not be more powerful but its hella lot quicker.....
try looking for flash 4 on the macromedia webby

it's probably at the same website that you download flash 5 on.

Well I've had Flash 4 for a long time now and got a book on it for Christmas. Soon after, I got Flash 5 and the book isn't much good anymore as it doesn't cover the new ActionScript. I know there wasn't much point in telling you that apart from the fact that you shouldn't get a Flash 4 book if you have Flash 5 aswell (well that's pretty obvious!). Anyways there is a lot more you can do in 5, although there is a way of doing it in 4 but that involves a LOT more scripting. You should only get 4 if you are working with someone who only has 4 as you cannot open 5 files in 4. Hope that made sense.
Ever since I got 5 I haven't touched 4 and probably wont again.
By the way... I have no idea on how to make a gradient that changes alpha in version 5. This was very simple in 4! Could somebody help me here?
