actions script is pretty hard well looks it. lots of []{}() aghhghgh too complicated for me lol. maybe i should learn it. ok down to the point. I have got all the ideas and everything for a fighting game in flash . like a tekken concept or something. do i need to know actionscript technines or can i do it all with those gay tweens and stuff.
if someone could reply to this then it would be greatly appreciated.

That's gonna require a LOT of actionscript. I suggest starting with something smaller and then work your way up.
My tips:
1) Use Flash5. Must-do for any game.
2) Read the help files. Starting with the Actionscript Reference, then just start making stupid stuff on your own, using the Actionscript Dictionary for help with specific commands.
3) Look at other people's work. www.flashkit.com is a nice resource.
4) Ask here. We'll be glad to help.

Also, goto Edit->Preferences and change Mode to Expert Mode. It's a lot easier to edit and you'll learn more faster.
