Ok, the new game oblivion came out and i'm obsessed with it. But one thing is wrong, i'm stuck in a part. Ok i'm at the Mine where i have to kill the 5 vampires but they don't freakin die no matter what i do. Anybody know what to do?
I've already tried GameFAQs and it didn't help
They are pretty damn tough yeah =/
Just try to take them on 1 at a time, though you will most likely have to fight some in pairs.
The casters are easy (robes, no weapon), just rush them with a decent melee weapon and they will go down fast, same with the archer. I found the orc hardest, you just gotta block a lot and heal a lot.
If you are REALLY stuck you could try contract the vampirism and spend a few days in the dark for some stat-boosts, but its a bit of a sod to cure it.

i killed them with a silver weapon (claymore)
If you are taking damage off of them but not enough, maybe you just need to steer off from that quest for awhile and lvl up your character, or maybe just save up to update your equipment.

yeah it's the part where that statue tells you kill the vampires in the Gutted Mine
statue? must be another bit then, theres a guy in the imperial city who asks you to join a vamp hunters guild
give silver a shot, or an enchanted weapon, both ignore normal weapon resistances
I don't like Oblivion, i found Morrowind much more entertaining.
Anywho just use silver weapons, I used a silver shortsword with freeze attached, i then just shot them with a bonemould longbow and silver arrows. Bang, dead!

Well i bought a Silver War Axe and am using the Blades Sheild in the off-hand and no matter how hard i try she always knocks me over and she does too much damage
Don't hesitate to use any stat-enhancing potions you may have or poisons. Also 1 use per day powerups from shrines if you have some. And save mid-battle if you are doing quite well.
you might just not be strong enough to take them yet, or try chucking fireballs to soften her up a bit and pop a load of health potions, you get a fireball spell from the mage guild pretty early i think, or from edgar vautsomethings magic shop in the main city

I would get that spell but i'm broke as fuck :(
the mage guild one is free, i just cant remember who gives it to you, think it was an argonian
just type tgm in the cheat window and you will obtain god mode......
