Alright, I know we waded through a lot of crap in the last thread, so I figured with the new forum, we should start anew. Here are some principles/guidelines/whatever that our crew was founded upon:
1.First off I would like to say that WE ARE IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THE BLAM CLUB. We catch shit from people saying that we are a "rip-off" and so on.
2.We are just a bunch of guys testing our skill and accuracy, trying to get the final blam on a crappy flash submitted to the portal. So if we are a "rip-off" of anything, we would be one of what the Blam Club used to be. In essence, we are trying to recreate the feel of the old blam club, when you get down to it.
3. We really have no limits as to who can join. As long as you're not an asshole who likes starting shit with people for no reason, you're ok by me.
4. You get very little recognition in this. A little number in your sig if you wish, but not much more. If your heart is set on joining, ask me or Burner1515(fellow founding member) and we'll get you a number.
5. There is no definite way of pulling off a final blam. There are too many variables in the blamming process to make it predictable. There are three checkpoints that a flash must pass before it is safe, which are as follows:
A.50 votes & score of 1.00 or less
B.75 votes & score of 1.25 or less
C.100 votes & score of 1.50 or less
This might be of help, but you are not told how many votes an entry has until it is no longer "Under Judgement". You are only given the number of views. But it has been my experience that about 2/3 of the people that view an entry actually vote. Again I must say that this is not definite and will not always work, but just another way to do it.
6. This is just for sport, as my co-founder so put it. We seek the challenge and the "final blam" movie you get as a reward, not the actual blam. If you are worried about blam points, I strongly urge you join the Blam Club instead, because you risk losing a blam if you do it our way.
That is all for now, I bid thee farewell.
