In Flash related April Fools News, Emanuele, tutor of many and monetising champion of Italy, has been ordered to close his blog.
It's one of those 'just about plausible' ones

But we are all going to feel REALLY bad when after all of our laughing, we find out that his post was actually true and that it was a really bad lapse of timing.

April First Over
You know that feeling when you hold a big party and everyone went home and now you are all alone? That's how I feel after April First.

No one ever bothered to see the prank I set up on my user page. ;(

Anyway, my faves for best website April Fools Day prank would be the UK Youtube's Rick Roll, Gmail's Custom Time... oh, and a new Tetris RTS game (their so-called "gameplay video", again, leads to a Rick Roll...)

Anyone have any favorite pranks?

I enjoyed the YouTube thing, as well as Blizzard's jokes. There was also one between XKCD, Questionable Content and Qwantz. You can still catch it now, and hit Next on the comics to go to one of the other sites.

Bummer

So I got a tattoo design commissioned a little over a year ago by someone on DA, and it looks amazing. It's what I wanted and more, and I was glad I got it commissioned as I figured it's something unique that only I'd have. However, due to me being broke back then, I didn't and still haven't got it.

I decide to read up on people's comments on it today, and I find a link to someone's picture of the tattoo on their leg (with some slight variations, but the main element is identical and shape and concept). It totally killed my enthusiasm to eventually get it, as now I know that at least one person used it, and more possibly have.

I didn't want to be someone who went online and found some generic design and got it tattooed. Not trying to sound whiny, but it's a bummer to have seen that. If you want me to tie it in to Flash, I guess you could relate it to the fact that if it's on the internet, and people want it, they don't care who's it is or where it's from, they're going to do with it what they want.

FUCKING AWESOME YEAH

I feel, really really awesome. It's like magic is flying from my heart and stuffs and I'm all like FUCK YEAH.
But I also feel really limited because it'd be fairly awesome if I could just have my creativity leak out and take its own form and be all like, sup?
Think I might go and do this thing I call Power Stancing.

BTW, does anyone else feel awesome and I don't get the fuss about april fools day because a lot of this stuff was pretty lame this year and yeah FEEL JUST SO AWESOME!

Hey dudes. Not that you'd remember me, but meh.

April Fools

I was completely fooled by the qwantz/xkcd/questionable content domain name switch over. They made it so www.qwantz.com showed the xkcd site, xkcd.com show questionable content, and questionablecontent.net show qwantz.

Confused the hell outa me for a couple of minutes. Then I clocked it. :P

Anything interesting happen while I went? See you broke the 1000 page milestone. I know that must be old news for you guys, but whatever.

Post-Fools Day Thoughts

Ok, at one point I thought rick rolling was cute and funny in its own way, but now it's just fucking stupid. I was rickrolled maybe 20 times yesterday, and it was just annoying. It's even in my school now. Song of the day, played over the loud speaker: Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up.

The internet needs a new meme to steal from 4chan

File-size Limit
When you guys start making an animation or game, do you constantly have the 10 mb file-size limit in the back of your head? Or don't you worry about that all? I'm kind of worried that I'll exceed it, but I'm also not feeling like downgrading my animation too much...

File-size
File size is like counting cards in Blackjack. You just keep a shorthand tally in the back of your head of how many bitmaps, sound effects, and music files you've been using, and you can approximate file size from there.

Would have been funnier as a sleeping pill that would cause insomnia.

haha awesome. When I had to find something soft to replace the fluff in the teddy bear, I'm looking for something and I'm like "...wut?". So I look on the desk and there is some tissue. I grab that and start rubbing it on the back of my monitor, on the mouse and on the microphone. I sat there for a while then I saw the cloud.

What is, something that happens that you don't tell other people about...

As if presidente didn't try to rain on the parade enough, you have to jump in. The point is that numa numa showed up on south park, and while most people probably don't know it, it showed up first on newgrounds, so it's like a piece of ng is on south park.
