How do I make the outlines of objects all the same width? I keep trying but it always comes out wrong.
I don't have a tablet. What type of tablet should I buy?
Should I submit hard worked on pieces that are still sub-par, or should I wait until they are Phillips-esque.

It's not very good dude.
The mans all wrong, the hands look like crap and the odd lightning effect looks very tacky (2 minutes in photoshop?). Maybe try again, work on your anatomy.
I realize it looks like shit, which is why I was asking for advice.
It was actually made in Flash.
If you want the lightning, you should make it a lot smaller, about half the size it is right now or less. Right now it distracts the eye too much and makes the picture seem cluttered.

umm i dont think there is any way to make the outlines the same width, but then again im not much of a digital artist. i think all u need is some practice

1. buy any tablet by wacom, they are excellent.
2. if you're going to submit sub-par pieces, expect to be criticized for it. if i were you, i would buy a tablet and get some practice, maybe find an anatomy book for help. what you have is a start though, better than lots of crap i've seen lately, but still needs a lot of work.

well, if you change the background to white, then we can see what your talking about...
right now i don't see any... lines besides that lightning thing.
you using the pen/pencil/line tool? then all you have to do is press Ctrl+A, then S, for "line Style", and change that number. that will change all line thicknesses.
otherwise, if you're using fills, your stuck using the eraser tool and being zoomed in.
Buy any Intuos tablet by Wacom, 6x8 is enough space for any artist.
An easy way to do outlines in Flash is with the ink bottle tool - try experimenting with different line thicknesses.
If you have photoshop maybe use that for the lines instead?
