putting the shutterspeed to 1 min and waving a light device in different directions doesn't take very much effort, really.
But art isn't about how long it did to make, but how it looks and what it tells you.
And staying inside your attempt, I can say that it could use more contrast, and have cleaner colors. Try to have a background with minimum detail and color difference, and make a planned pattern, and not just mindless waving.
