WELL he wasn't s'posed to. At least, not all the time. See, my hook to this movie was that a winner would be chosen randomly when the time came. This was a tiny little script on a frame that each ending shared that determined which of the three endings to choose from.
Sadly, it never chooses anyone else other than Sonic, and I never noticed until way later. Completely ruining the entire fucking point why I made this.

Yes, if you wait until the end of the credits (or skip) youll see a selector for the other endings. A Megaman Ending and a Metal Slug ending.
This video was proudly represented on Randy Solemns "Fan Vids" page on the original VideoGamesDC website, where it got exposure to thousands of sprite cartoon enthusiasts whom sent me tons of fan mail. I will have never received this same level of success ever again from anything I've ever created.

I just noticed the Slipknot reference in one of Sonic's lines, but that might not have been intentional. I remember this from VGDC as well, also being the first time i heard a Slipknot song. I definetely prefer the Megaman ending IMO.
