I think everybody deals with this problem to some degree or another. All though this toon seems like a mix between Highlander and a Daytime Soap, it makes me want to see the next one.
P.S. the best thing in this toon had to be that weapon, the dark half looks like a evil joker, and the light half looks like some coat-of-arms heart.

It's a really good concept that you definately should build on, but first slow down and take some time to work on some things. Your graphics could be better, so practice. Good graphics with this story could be a very promising development. Good luck, hope to see more.
