Offers its share pf good replay value :)
Ahhh, the perfect little game for this season. It’s great to see people making flash and games in relation to Easter, even more so on the actual day. Not only does this give you a festive spirit, but because of the game’s replay value, you will be coming back to it again and again for fun. This means that you’ll still spend time playing on the game, even when it isn’t Easter any more….
First off, the graphics of the game. Not a lot to complain about, if I may be honest. I liked the cartoon feel of the game, and the whole thing had a very ‘wacky atmosphere to it. Even by the graphics you felt the slapstick feel of the flash, the way the bunny blew up in half, and fell on the floor in a pool of blood, beside a gigantic smoking hole where the mine had originally been before the unfortunate little ‘mishap’. Classical cartoon comedy, it’s small details like this that not only proves the author’s good effort, but also gives the flash credit and brings out the best of the flash in this aspect. It’s the small things that usually make a big difference, because fine details such as that never can go unnoticed by the audience. Overall in graphics, extremely satisfying– the game was presented very well and I appreciated the fact that you used very bright and bold colours, you didn’t have to blend colours, you could just use plain ones because there were a variety of them. This really does make the game more pleasing to not only play, but to look at for the audience, because it provides them with just that little extra bit of eye-candy. I also felt if this doesn’t sound silly, that in a few small ways this had partly an “Alien Hominid” look and feel to it – for example those towering and crooked buildings in the background. The only complaints I would have about this is that whilst most of the graphics looked good, the mines looked a bit odd and a little too large. I didn’t understand why they had spikes coming out of them, they looked a little ugly, and to be honest more like hedgehogs than actual mines. When I say about the size, I mean that I felt they took up too much graphical space on the screen, they didn’t feel right being so large and some mines randomly in the middle of the ‘road’ where you controlled the rabbit appeared very small. This made the mines’ whereabouts hard to judge, and so it was extremely difficult dodging the large ones I felt, I feel that partly this is because the collision detection of the game was a little off.
Next, sound. I liked the background music of the flash because it suits the fast-paced feel of the game well, and makes the game seem very slapstick. It isn’t the best music in the world, but It suits this type of flash and I feel other kinds of music just simply wouldn’t work. I also liked the sound effect you got every tine you collected an egg, this made running along collecting eggs more satisfying because you knew if you had lots of ‘pings’ every few seconds that you were doing well. And let’s not forget the explosion noise when you die, I like that too. I have to admit, it was good quality and took me by surprise – I had my speakers turned up loud!
Lastly, game-play. Definitely the core aspect of the game. The idea wasn’t particularly original, and it was simplistic, but for this game it just works – I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was enjoyable to play and because it’s a game with no plot it means you can come back to again and again. The game got repetitive after a while but was fun without fail for a good 20 minutes, the bunny moved along well, but the only thing I would suggest is that like the mines, the eggs were a little too large. Perhaps you could shrink the size a bit?
Overall, not an entirely original game, but an enjoyable one at that. It’s safe to say that this has its spot in the limelight for a good 20 minutes, and is something you’ll come back to. Well done, and Happy Easter :)

very challenging
this game was as hard as it was addictive. the game moved fast. sure the objective was simple but under those speeds its very challenging. also i realized that everytime i lost i simply had to go back and play it again and again. having said that i hve some advice. better graphics are the key to success. people wont care what your making as long as it has graphics that are good. also have a prize or a surprise at the ending. that will get more people to want to play. 4 out of 5 clovers. also if you have something to say to me about my review. write me back i love hearing from people ive reviewed
