An interesting change...
Well, friend, this isn't quite what I'm used to seeing from you, and I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I'll fully admit I found this much more amusing than I'm sure I should have (but really, how was I supposed to resist carnivorous daffodils?), but I think I expected something a bit more. This had neither the delightful pretension of your poetry pieces or the sense of satire your steel piece did. It seemed like an experimental piece, like you were trying for something new and didn't know how to get there. You seemed to be making a few too many tired jokes, and while that may have been the point, it didn't quite do it for me.
Good work branching out, but try to focus a little better next time. I had trouble figuring out if you were imitating Danger Mouse, ridiculing the nature of children's cartoons, or just generally trying to be strange. This has potential, but I could say that about nearly anything. Tighten this idea up, and you might manage to catch something with it.
