Ok, so I picked up flash yesterday and decided to make something. Before, all I had done in Flash was a little school work, but I learned enough about the program to figure out how to make fairly decent looking things... so anyway, I started this small project because, quite frankly I was just bored and didn't have my computer with me. Anyway, its short and incomplete, but I still think its pretty fun nonetheless.
Quicky Credits:
Music - Jivemaster of OCRemix
Sprites - Sonic Team with graphical editing by me
Background - ...embarassingly, I'm not sure where I got the original graphics... Someone inform me if you know/don't mind.

It's basically an enhanced sprite flash.

that was so kool !!!

it was good!!!!!!!!

I like the style.

That's cool old shcool battle. But it was a little bit you know slow. Sonic is faster.
But I like it! The style is awsome!

I liked it!.

I really liked the way you drew everything up it was very unique. the storyline I was curious about I don't know if its because i havn't played the sonic games or not but I liked it anyways.

Love the style!

It seemed pretty choppy at parts, but the flash was good all in all. I find Sonic very over-done on this site, but its still pretty ncie to see a new Sonic flash, especially one done like this one. I adore how you made it look like it was painted with a brush! =D

Great work! I liked it =) Could you check out some of my newgrounds audio? I'm sure you'd like some of it =D

DimensionWarped responds:

Heh, thanks. Yeah, some of the animation can be choppy mostly due to a lack of frames in the spritesheets I'm working with... so things tend to look awkward when I raise the frame rate above 20 and some animations I'm having to have the same frame repeated for two frames of animation. I'll have a look at your audio and see if I can use some of it later. As for finishing this project, I'm just going to try to make it last until the end of the song and throw in some sound effects, but I'll definitely give your audio a once over in the meantime.

Pretty good.

I liked it. I also liked how you used trace bitmap so that the sprites didn't look pixelated. It would be better if it had more length though, you should work on projects more than one day.

DimensionWarped responds:

Yeah, I was just seeing if it would be received well. It has, so I'll keep working on it.
