A very short animation I did in a day just for fun. The hot lava death thing is a sort of inside joke from an old Heroscape podcast in which two of the designers were being interviewed. When asked about upcoming terrain that was being developed one of the designers, Rob Daviau, called out "Hot Lava Death!" That's where the sound clip came from. When the lava set came out, there was a little head (Rob's) on the inside of the box that read "Hot Lava Death!" I was bored and decided that this needed it's own animated short. I didn't spend that much time on it, and that shows, it doesn't look as wonderful as it could. Sorry about that :P
Again, it's sort of an inside joke and maybe that's where most of the humor comes from, but I hope you'll enjoy this anyway. I respond to all reviews.

Good work, Chillidog. The fire animation could use a little work, but it was still hilarious.

Yea, my fire animations didn't look a thing like fire so I downloaded a fire gif instead :P

Maybe you played the demo online? There's stuff like that on the site, heroscape.com
But the actual game isn't online. I plan on making some sort of HS computer game, possibly online, eventually, though.

Sick and wrong
It was just a kid dude, you don't show that stuff! if you wanted to make something fun you should of put something with action or comedy in it!

Wow.
That was half a minute of my life that I'll never get back, so, to make the best of it, I'll write a review! I don't know much about heroscape, but I found this movie strangely amusing, maybe it was the contorted hands or the way that freakish head said: "Hot lava death" and combusted. If you'd make a whole series of vignettes about heroscape jokes like that, it wouldn't be half bad. As it stands, it's admittedly not the greatest thing on NG.
