Something is definately not right with this, kept looping the preloader.

the preloader finished.. so did the animation 1 second later..

I think you forgot to put a stop action

I had to un-check loop to properly view the movie. If you want it to rest on that one frame, then you need to either have a "stop()" in your action script or an additional frame with a "go to scene(2)" in the action script, or something to that extent. I can't remember off the top of my head.
