On April 10th my partner and I went into a Provincial 2D Animation contest and won the Gold Medal (First place).
Rules:
1 Hour for drawing character model sheets and slides on paper.
5 Hours for actual animating and drawing on flash
no sound, no outside devices, tablet provided.
The plan was that my friend would draw the characters for all the slides, while I drew the backgrounds and animated the whole piece.
I'm posting this here mainly to see what other people think of our work and what we can approve on because we will be going into the nationals next month, so we're hopping to see what other people think of our creation.

no sound...
i know there's no sound for the contest, but really this would just be a much better flash with some music or something. maybe next time you submit a flash like this you can add some sound just for the newgrounds version. otherwise the animation was pretty good, if a little sketchy and it was a good story. good luck in the nationals...
Yeah, there was suppose to be sound given to us but apperently something went wrong and the files were all corrupted. However in the nationals sound will be a must :x
I probably could have added sound to it for newground's version but they didn't give me the source file, only the swf.

it was a kind of good story line. but at the end.... where the hell did the other 2 eggs come from? and it would have been much better with sound.
Hehe, we had to cut alot of scenes because we were starting to run out of time.. we probably need to work on our time management.
