***Fixed the minor bugs on the Mage part, hope i did not ruin my first impression >.>****

I want to thank everyone for giving my game a try.
This is the first game I have ever attempted to make.
I'm not artist, but I really put my soul into drawing each piece of art from scratch
I want to thank my teacher Craig Farnes.

Please try not to be too harsh on me :/
If you enjoy it, please leave a nice comment telling me what I did right :)

I used to buy the ...

....choose you're own adventure books in the early eighties. All you needed was reading skills and a twenty sided die. They were by the late Gary Gygax,..another legendary gentleman. This was a short version of that,..but good nonetheless.

CoffinJoe responds:

Haha yeah man the first computer games I ever played were chose your own adventure games.

I have this discount bookstore by my pad, and I pick up oldschool dnd books all the time. Some are quite horrible...but others are really inspiring.

Not bad..

I like the whole text based RPG, you don't see that many any more, but it was, as previosly stated, to short. My advice would be to find yourself an artist and make a longer one. Good for a first try though.

CoffinJoe responds:

Thank you sir :)

It was indeed short, and I'm also a lazy asshole.

I really like the choose your own adventure genre, and the coding for it is just so simple.

Short but Sweet.

I liked the whole idea of choice but it was a tad short, but the riddles was good but too easy.

Meh

To me it looks like a slideshow, add some animations of the actions the player takes, soudns would be good also

I liked the style of it.

Absolutely adored the rhyme riddle. Finished the game in one attempt without managing to make a mistake. I found it enjoyable and I'm sure Tolkien would be honored you dedicated it to him. Once touched by his work, always touched, and you show that by what you've made. Good job.

CoffinJoe responds:

Very charming review. Reading through tolkien's matteriel, you sort of become good friends with the old fellow.

thanks again ;D
