Well hello NewGrounds!
My first submission! (Insert party here)
I made this as an assessment for my QANTM course I was and still am doing. This is why it has no other levels or sounds or anything but the bare minimum. So it's a little demo. It was just to test out action scripting. (Which is REALLY HARD) This game had about 200 lines of coding which we had to do. Time consuming let me tell you.
I swear I will add more levels and sounds soon. But in the mean time if there is anything you would like to see added or changed please tell me and I'll see what I can do

move - up, left, down and right keys
fire - space bar
objective 1 - kill enemies
objective 2 - don't die
P.s there is a bug I can't get rid of. If you can spot it just tell me and you'll get an ice-cream! (yay ice cream) If you spot any bugs please tell me so I can have a look at removing them. But seriously there is one I can't get rid of.

!!!Sounds added!!!! I'm sure plenty people will be happy about that. The music loop is courtesy of PepsiMax181 I hope you like it. And the sound effects are from somewhere I don't remember and just for iWren I made the enemies come further apart.
What's up NewGrounds? I didn't get any comment on my introduction to it with the evil hamster man! Someone tell me what they think about it so I can change it if necessary.
I know its a demo...
But still. if its all gonna be like this its pretty bad.
I voted 1 as the idea is okay, and the hamsters made me laugh.
but you can sit your ship in the middle of the screen holding fire and they can't get past.

That's a fair enough vote. If I increase the height of the screen perhaps that will focre you to move around a bit more. Well come back when it's been updated and see if you like it more

Good game, but it needs....
First of all it needs some background music, and some sounds when you fire the weapon. It also need more difficulty, and perhaps some weapons you can unlock.

You know, the point of writing a review is to give constructive criticism. So, ok fair enough it probably has been made 1000 or more times but I am just starting. Aren't I allowed to start with something everyone has done before? Isn't that why there are so many?
Just like your early games "Where's Sticky?" my first game is lame and there are plenty more like them.

i understand its a demo so...... anyway sound would be gd and also if u could make some upgrades fpr ur ship and last different types of hampsters!!(like u kno big ones small ones colors)
