Hi, I hope you enjoy my puzzle game Squish.
I made this game for the Mac a long time ago and decided it was time to port it to Flash.
Have fun!

UPDATE: The Reset button has been fixed, and I've added a new Tutorial!

whoa!
I love these kind of games..it's so addicting!
Graphics were good, but the tools on the bottom were just a little confusing to handle at first...and the thing about the reset button, yeah. Some fast-paced music would also go pretty good with this, or thinking music..something slower and steady, with a serious kind of repetition.
Overall, it's a pretty good game, Henry.
I want to like it more than I actually like it.
[Bug report: the reset level button doesn't work]
This is one of those "so-close-and-yet-so-far" games for me. In one sense, okay, it's not original -- but that doesn't matter in this case, because it's a puzzle game and changing the puzzles changes the game (not to mention the tools given to solve the puzzles).
But... maybe the demo world (I didn't try any of the others) puzzles should have been a little more obvious. Maybe you should introduce the tools (elevator, fan, etc) one at a time, one per level. The fact that some things didn't behave the way I expected them to isn't directly your fault, but it can be avoided if you demonstrate how something works before the user needs to use it.
The fact that I had to find out for myself that elevators only act on one square of height, that fans need to be placed to the side, etc, etc, were all made more frustrating by the fact that the reset button didn't work.
As I said, I didn't explore the other worlds, but it seems like there's a lot to explore, so it's a shame that I just don't want to. Maybe no one else will have these problems, but... there's my two cents. Good luck!
Doh! I can't believe the Reset button is broken, it looks like it stopped working when I added MochiAds encryption. I'll fix this tonight and upload a new version... Sorry!
Thanks for the review.
I like the idea
Either I've missed it or there isn't a proper explanation of the various placeable objects. The basic function is obvious, but not the exact range, etc (maybe you could add a tutorial at the beginning?) I think the player should be able to decide when the little guy starts to move. I wasn't able to place objects while the guy is inside a cannon which would be a handy feature. The animation when he's shot out of the cannons is way too slow.
Otherwise it's a decent design, it's just the slow pace and the lack of music that make the experience a bit boring.
this is a nice idea
i really liked it. but i dont think the reset button works.
It needs to be a little faster of pace. And music needs to be there, so its not all silent.
