Im just confused about this
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
Typing is a deadly art - you must practice! Fend off menacing beasts by typing their names. Kaboom!
I have tried to add in improvements and suggestions from the previous version, now you no longer need to use the enter key every time! Also there are more levels, power-ups, bad guys, bosses and a better stats system.
WARNING! This is a typing game... I know not everyone will like it as many don't like the genre, but please be gentle (in your voting that is!)
Im just confused about this
damn
i have to give this a ten for the amount of time i've put into it, i just can't beat it though.
Key Master 1 was far Better
Not worth playing to test your typing, enemies sometimes get in the way of the boss and you are forced to backspace like crazy only to end up dieing. Not that fun and no as difficult as it is TOO FAST.
Too many enemies are hard for the wrong reason
This is a good, lean typing game. However, there is one main problem. If you have, say, six enemies on the screen, as they close in on you some monsters names may overlap. This makes it difficult to keep track of who's who, so I often type a monster's name, tackle someone else, then accidentally read the guy's name and type it again- just as my spell hits. His name is no longer in lay, which means I typo, cannot type, and by the time I figure out why and backtrack I get bangbanged by the hordes.
Great concept but execution needs work.
Key Master 2 is a typing/fighting game that comes off a bit too sloppy at times. The music gets drowned out by the repetitive sounds of you bashing your enemy with typing skills and the game itself can be a bit too repetitive as well. If there were maybe more ways to fight, a more expansive level-up system, and volume control then this game could be great. I am the fastest typer I know so grand master was really no problem for me, even if I lost patience to complete the game, but I would love a sequel that seemed better put together, especially in terms of graphics. That would really get a better score, and a fan, out of me.
