A person who ignores the signs to stop smoking. This was a project for a contest called Signal to Noise. I hope you like it!

Well I thought that it got the message through quite clearly. The man smokes and he takes 5 more steps, falls over and stops moving, most certainly dead. I believe this animation was a big exaggeration about the effects of smoking because he smokes one cigarette and dies a few seconds later. Your message got put through clearly to me at least! And how much do you want to bet that the people who say they don't think the message is clear are smokers or know smokers.
You should go with Cynic-san's idea (just below mine) and do your next animation on "Put Down the Big Mac" I think that would be a great follow up to this animation!
10/10 because the animation was good, the artwork was excellent and the message got through clearly.
I liked the animation but
The message? I didn't really care for it. Tempted to say "The anti-smoker was the lone crazy guy standing in the street" and cigarettes don't immediately kill you.
We know it's bad. But fast food is just as bad and we don't have commercials saying "Put down that Big Mac".

Didn't get the message across
The animation was very nice. However, the message is a little lost -- I understand, because I've seen such things before, that the message is that smoking will kill you. You don't get that across in the animation at all -- it's not clear that he's dead at the end, nor is it clear that it's the smoking that killed him.
