The main aim of this game is to take centipede through the garden. You have 10 levels to make. Level by level the game is harder and harder. Collect as much balls as possible in appointed time. Use arrows to control.

Nice break from my studies

I agree with previous reviews: the game is charming and calming. The graphics are well done and gives a warm and fuzzy ambience :) The music is pleasant and the fact that it's repeating doesn't bother me at all. It gets the job done ;) I also like the smooth movement and control of the caterpillar and it's great that there is a margin on the edges of the map so it's not game over as soon as the caterpillar touches an edge.

I too was disappointed when I saw the shovel the second time, perhaps it would have been better to just make fewer levels because it had a big negative impact. It's not fair, I know, but it's the little things you know. Also, I would have liked to see a twist of some sort. Something to surprise me and make it stand out from the rest of the "worm" games. Perhaps different types of food with different probabilities of appearing and rewarding different amounts of points?

Great game though, well programmed and designed. :)

Charming

This is what flash games should look like. This game has a distinct calming feeling, making it perfect for anyone who's had a bad day at work. I do have a couple gripes, though.
1. The music serves its purpose well, but the song isn't long enough, and it gets a bit repetetive after a while. The sound that plays when you pick up a sphere is also too loud.
2. After level 5, you started reusing obstacles. Part of what makes this game charming is that every area had its own unique setting, like a small portion of a much bigger world. Once I saw the sand shovel again, that feeling of imersion broke, which disappointed me somewhat.
Other than that, this is a great game, and I hope you earn an award or two for it. Well done.

cute?

well i don't agree that a centipede can ever be cute, but hey it is the internet, i felt this is a really good variation of the classical snake as well as very smooth i liked the effort put forth in this game.

Charming rendition of a classic!

This is a super-cute recreation of 'Snake'.

The controls are extremely responsive, and the animation is really fluid. I've seen some crappy Snake clones, but this one is awesome. It's a very tranquil experience that I quite enjoyed.

Actually, I have a tattoo on my arm from the version of Snake that came packaged with QBasic, for DOS, as an example program, called Nibbles. The tattoo is the layout of level 4. It's what my user icon is (that black & red symbol). So this really took me back to the good ol' days.

Nice work.
