had the potential to be funny but the animations were far too basic to have any sort of positive effect, pretty dismal in the end

This video had the slightest hope of being funny if the animation was at all good. Even if the animation was any bit better it still wouldn't have been funny unless it played more into the joke.
I'm giving you one star just for the effort of even putting any animation into this at all!
