Thanks for the front page and daily second guys <3!!

I'm going to state this again because a lot of people keep complaining about this in the comments:

THIS ANIMATION WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE A PLOT/STORY TO IT. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE UNDER A MINUTE IN LENGTH. IF I BROKE ANY OF THOSE RULES I WOULD NOT HAVE FOLLOWED THE GUIDELINES SET FOR OUR CLASS AND WOULD MOST LIKELY LOSE POINTS.

This was another homework assignment we got for our Intro to Computer Animation class.

Details:
- Pick any instrumental song that is 1 minute in length.
- Animate things happening on beat
- Don't use characters or anything of the sort
- Have it done in a week

I ran out of ideas towards the end so that's why it seems random.

Nice

Wow, this flash actually is some pretty good stuff. The animations and the song go along really well together. The music is kind of experimental as well and I think you did a good job with the objects at the beginning and the tetris blocks during the middle part.

Too bad the ending is kind of a let down, though but I understand that you ran out of ideas there. Maybe you could've used a better transition, though. I liked the first transition with "ERROR" being written all over the place, I think you could've used that for the second transition as well.

Neat animations with glitchy music.

I'm guessing you got quite alot of points for this one. You should've.

It's nothing amazing, nor groundbreaking, but it's different and unusual. I guess it could be called a music video of sorts. I really enjoyed the music, sounding very choppy and glitchy, electronic, reminding me of a video game. I wouldn't have made the connection to Tetris unless I read Coop's review, but once I've read that, I gotta say it really does. The blocks, and the choppy retro-electronic music really does remind me of that.

It was a little short, but that was the assignment. Considering what your task was, and what you did, this was very well done, and the only thing I can really say something on, is the little worm/maggot/eal/sloth/whatever, which flowed over the screen at one point. It didn't really fit in with the flash, and it's movement didn't seem to flow just right, it looked like it was on a completely different sheet. If that makes any sense.

Great interpretation

I love the way that you interpreted this piece largely with Tetris blocks, as this really seemed to work. Incorporating some sort of Mario action in there to go along with the blocks would have been a nice achievement - the block build up the face of the smiling plumber and you zoom out for one of the sound effects on the track. Of course, you could have had him run along and punch a block, as that's also his style.

A great piece of music that you chose and it really does reflect with the way you've created the video and made it work so well. With the way that everything seems to fit together, perhaps the only thing that you really need is a longer tune and someone to bounce ideas off of, so that your creative powers are showcased to their maximum.

Thanks again mate! Since this was a class assignment, we had to follow the rules set forth and one of those rules happened to be we're not allowed to use characters of any sort; it has to remain abstract. Also, the length of it had to be less than a minute so that's why it's so short. If we were allowed to break those two rules then I would have put out something much better than this. But thanks for the review!

I loved that

This doesn't seem like a clock flash cause it is really good.no offence

-Animation-
Really cool it was like some kind of computer ERROR thing which i really like.It went from shapes to blocks to drawing and all this cool stuff.I added this to my favorites cause just how awesome it was.I really like it the most cause it went from simple moving shapes to more complex things like building blocks to moving animations.I also liked that red tv snow like background at the end.It was a little laggy but I think that is my computer speed. If it was up to me I would have made this daily first.

-Audio-
Things that are bad 0.Things that are good EVERYTHING.I loved the techno like music. It was like a mix between techno and hiphop.I very much enjoyed this flash. You should think about ubmiting it to the audio portal cause I would love to download this song. And other flash authors might like to use it.I did think it was a little repetitive but I still loved it.

-Improvements-
Not much only a couple. It did have a lag but its probably my computer but if your not doing at least 30 FPS then that is kinda low if it is 30 FPS or MORE then congrats. And if you do make another music flash give it a little more of a difference.Other then those to small things your did exellent with this flash. But just keep up the good work.

....

That was very entertaining. The way you manage to keep people entertained with only the use of moving blocks shows that you have talent and Im looking forward to more from you in the future keep up the good work

Thank you!
