Because I'm so original (and because I had to animate it for uni) here is one of my early 3D attempts. Now I don't mean 3D in the sense that "THE IMAGE PRACTICALLY COMES TO LIFE" but rather that the image was rendered in maya. This took two weeks to finish and none of the models are mine and by models I mean the lamp. I didnt make it. I suppose the ball doesn't really count cause I just had to drag it off the shelf but I hop that now that you're done reading this the video has finished loading and you can be mildly entertained by a simple ball and lamp. Enjoy XD

Interesting concept. You really should add a preloader to keep it from looping though.

At first, I was a bit suspicious that it had been stolen from Pixar. Discarded that, though, when the ball attacked the lamp.
In Pixar's original animation of these, there was a bigger lamp too. So where's the bigger ball? :p
It is still a nice piece of animation, even though it's a bit short.

Very original like you said. I thought for a minute that it was the same "lamp jump on something and squish it" kind of thing. But looks like the lamp wasnt so lucky this time around.
