great game

Interesting....

Not a bad game per se, given that there are a lot higher quality games on newgrounds.

The boxes to click for the attacks needs some work, only some specific spots in the boxes seem to trigger when you click it and the annoyance of the feet stomping around everytime the character takes a step is not good.

Hand drawn is a start, but I would suggest spending the few pennies you have for a pre-rendered game package and slap something together, or if you had to, go with the sprites that can be found almost anywhere on the web.

this game is so esey. i mean, all you do is hit the spacebar. thats it! how is this an RPG anyway? you cant contrail anything but what it says on the screen! what if i didnt want to buy the potion? what apout quests? all you can upgrade is stranth? there is no way you can lose to the boss at the end! this game is crap! its not even an RPG at all! i mean look at it! in what way is this supposed to be an RPG if you can do quests and stuff? all you do is press one butten the entier time! explain to me! the athore coments al totol lies! is it supposed to be stick dudes? i dont even know how this damn game got the daily 3rd prize, or a rating of 4.26!

Already played RPG-basic first, then saw there was a similar one a little below it in the list.

When I first started this one, I appeared to have gone directly to the end game screen with the dying guy dancing in the air and a congratulatory message, possibly because I gave up on the other one when I couldn't leave the room after being given the quest (walked off right side of screen, kept going indefinitely with the game keeping track of how far off screen I was, came back and walked off left side of screen, kept going indefinitely...)

And yeah, you're not kidding when you say basic, need to build a lot more on these foundations before you can call this a game - and maybe you should, the fact that you gave it a go at all suggests you have ideas to try out so keep at it, just maybe wait until you have more material and it's been better tested before your next submission ;)
