I can't even play this.The sound is awful.
2024 edit: after overcoming the awfully loud menu theme, I tried playing this. It's quite innovative.
You control a robot and this is basically a Hero Shooter + RTS. (Or MOBA, I guess)
Yet the sound of this game is awful.
The volume levels of the AI voice are horribly high. In other words it sounds like my speakers are going to fry when the lady speaks. I had to turn off the sound effects. My speaker levels are fine, it's your game, fix it please.
Second, your income increased too slow to keep up with the repeated attacks by the computer. The layout seems simple but in reality it just wasn't that great and made it hard to control your units, build buildings, make upgrades, etc.
I think this game needs a lot more testing and the author's terse comments just demonstrates the lack of enthusiasm and integrity put into this barely average game.
Couldn't even get the game to work initially. Multiple into windows kept layering over one another. Could not get the introduction windows to stop popping up. Decent graphics, but WAY too buggy.
Seems very buggy to me. Switching between units, clicking to send units and navigating the minimap were all very erratic - sometimes they worked, others they just didn't - causing lots of frustrating confusion.
Very good base... units, combines personal / group control. Nice.
But...
I had a lot of trouble/bugs trying to move unit subgroups individually. The destination point circle would only appear sporadically, meaning I'd be madly clicking to position snipers that ignored me, while the rest of my forces would get picked off.
Also, the enemy AI did not seem to upgrade it's manufacturing capacities.
It reduced the game from tactics to merely - build horde/release horde/flatten weak base - for me.
