If you had it around for awhile now then why not go back, add sound, and polish it a bit more before submitting it for us to judge? (Hell maybe even expand it)
as it is right now - nothing great but it is OK (at best)
Notice a pattern here with series of firsts? Yea I'm a total newb I know :P. Anyways, this was a project from this past semester in one of my animation classes. We were required to make a series of 10 second clips with the intention of portraying an emotion. The clips had to be abstract, though I managed to get away with a few slips in that rule *evil laugh*.
The project requirements were as follows:
Clip #1: Black and white shapes, no sound, nothing pictoral.
Clip #2: Full color, but no sound, and nothing pictoral.
Clip #3: Full color, limited sound (basic noises), and nothing pictoral.
Clip #4: Full color, full sound, typography, nothing pictoral.
Clip #5: Full everything except pictoral stuff because... y'know.. abstract.
Credits:
Audio in clip #4 is taken from Stargate SG1. Cuz that show is boss.

Well the project stipulated against sound for the first two animations, so the first two clips were an effort to convey an emotion using only B/W geometric shapes. Regarding your comments, I see the validity in them, and future animations will have much more polish than these first three. Thank you for your feedback.
Umm, how are innovativeness and intolerance emotions?
Innovativeness is tied to creativity which can be expressed as an emotion e.g. "I'm feeling innovative today". Where intolerance can be a blanket term for hostility, anger, and ignorance without having to express all three in the same short. It's reaching, I'll grant you that, but we needed to think abstractly for this project. So yea :P, but thanks for the feedback!
