Game itself is simple and nice enough. Yet it doesnt looks pretty.
made it to lv 8 on my second ever play on this game. why didn't I take this game idea first

Does better in Expert then Experienced.

Anyways, the one complaint I have is that sometimes the buttons are somewhat unresponsive, but that may be just me pressing it too fast.

Yes actually you pressed it too fast! It becomes unresponsive because of the limited fps we get online due to which last input responded upon...so you have to play it a bit slower than you want to.
This same problem is mentioned by others as-well
