You dive into to the unknown to find ancient treasures. Instead of silver and gold a fight for your life is waiting for you. Something was hiding in the Abyss. For centuries those monsters lured treasure hunters into their domain.
Will you finally defeat them?

Get ready for an intense bullet hell experience. To escape you will have to battle 7 very challenging sea monsters. Each moster has unique bullet and movement patterns. At start only Octoblub the first boss is available. Beat him to unlock Starien a very hostile sea star. Once you have beaten all monsters and the sea god a new game mode will be available.

The game offers 2 different game modes and 3 difficulty levels. For beginners the easy mode is the best way to start. The hard mode is only for experienced veterans and will pose a true challenge to every shoot em up fan. To unlock the Unlimited Mode you have to beat each boss with the normal difficulty setting.

Good game for the bored. I would love playing this while I was waiting at buss stops or train stations xD

Btw. my view on this game is sort of limited, i played it only on "Easy" difficulty and never managed the 4th boss. I don't know how the full game is, but I enjoyed what limited part of it I played.

Regarding the whole copy-off-Bullet-Heaven thing I read about in the below reviews, honestly it doesnt matter ...even if this game did copy aspects of Bullet Heaven, it is 2 entirely different games in execution. I had 0 feeling of playing Bullet Heaven when I played this game.

All those idiots below me calling this a bad game because they think it's based off of bullet heaven. My first order is to address those haters cause it's really buggin me. As a touhou fan, I can use the logic they used and say bullet heaven is an awful game because it copied the idea of colored bullets, or characters instead of spaceships etc. I don't, because bullet heaven is a good game, and I can appreciate and acknowledge the time and effort the developer put into making such a game for free. Same goes for this game. It has it's faults for sure, but it can stand up on it's own power.

If the complaint is originality, may I remind you that space invaders came out in 1978, as arguably the first bullet hell. If you wanted an original bullet hell, go play the original space invaders because according to that logic, every bullet hell would be a ripoff of space invaders.

Now if this game straight up ripped character animations, music, and design from bullet heaven, then we'd have a problem with originality. As far as I can tell, both from experience of playing bullet heaven, and the developer's response below, that's not the case. It's just a case of misdirected, impulsive, and foolish vitriol

Now onto the review of the game itself, which is what comments should be used for on this site.

...Meh. It's all right. The music is repetitive, but it gets the job done. There's lag at the beginning of each stage, but actual game play is fine. It's a good timewaster for maybe half an hour.

It's really not that challenging overall, and that's alright. I would probably use this game as a way to introduce someone into the genre of bullet hell. Easy enough not to frustrate, hard enough to engage, and it uses some pretty standard mechanics that you'll find in most bullet hell games.

Should you play it? If you feel like it, go for it, that's all I can say.

how have i known

i beated a stage 2 boss now stage 3 is hard i was at easy mode

Hello there. I am the developer of Unlimited Bullet, there are a few things I think I need to point out:

- The game was fully developed early this year, way before Bullet Heaven 2 was released. You can clearly see the date of this tweet https://twitter.com/haza418/status/643777254321881088. And you believe it or not, I tweeted it a few months after the game was finished. There are situations in which games have to be held and released long after it was fully developed.

- Also I did created quite some other bullet hell games as you can see on my profile. They are not that old but still kinda old.

- I think you can understand what this means. I simply like the genre bullet hell / danmaku and have been creating games on this genre for quite some time. There certainly are games like Touhou in which I get inspiration from and used some of their elements in my games (mostly generic elements from the genre itself though) but I have to say I have no desire or see any point in copying other browser games like Bullet Heaven series. Based on your reasoning and on what I know after playing it for a very short time, may I say BH2 is a rip off of Chicken Invaders? Of course I don't think so myself.

- You can say my game is bad and I can even agree with you to some extend but saying I rip off Bullet Heaven is an insult I can't just keep silent about because not only I didn't, I would really hate myself if I do that. Before reading your comment, I didn't even play that game, I had idea how the first stage and bullet pattern of that game look like . And to go to the extend of saying I used sound effects from that game? I'm sorry but the sound effects I used are under public domain and have been distributed on website like FlashKit or OpenGameArt for years if you understand what this means.

So I hope you see my points. Not all the games you find to be somewhat similar to the games you like are rip off of them. Not all MMO are rip off of WoW and not all browser bullet hell games released after Bullet Heaven 2 have anything to do with it.

Thank you for reading.

I'd rate this higher if it wasn't copying bullet heaven 2. Normally you could say "Oh, it's a genre!" However the creator even uses some sound files FROM bullet heaven 2. In the first few moments of play, I noticed the instructions practically parodies the how to play tips on Bullet Heaven. I'd rate it a 3STAR if It actually didn't do that. Why so low? It's poorly constructed. A decent first try I would say, if I didn't see many seemingly ripoffs in the suggested.

For actual gameplay, it's lacking. I wish I could say it had good music, but the music is repetitive. It's around a 7 second loop. That's not really a good idea if the game is all boss fights, because those take a while. The controls feel wrong, maybe because the bosses keep moving far too fast, to a point where it is frustrating to chase them. Try slowlng them down a bit. It seemed poorly made, and couldn't hook me. At least, that was the first impression. But first impressions are everything in gaming

I'm afraid it's just not good.
Wish you luck in finding originality
