All those idiots below me calling this a bad game because they think it's based off of bullet heaven. My first order is to address those haters cause it's really buggin me. As a touhou fan, I can use the logic they used and say bullet heaven is an awful game because it copied the idea of colored bullets, or characters instead of spaceships etc. I don't, because bullet heaven is a good game, and I can appreciate and acknowledge the time and effort the developer put into making such a game for free. Same goes for this game. It has it's faults for sure, but it can stand up on it's own power.
If the complaint is originality, may I remind you that space invaders came out in 1978, as arguably the first bullet hell. If you wanted an original bullet hell, go play the original space invaders because according to that logic, every bullet hell would be a ripoff of space invaders.
Now if this game straight up ripped character animations, music, and design from bullet heaven, then we'd have a problem with originality. As far as I can tell, both from experience of playing bullet heaven, and the developer's response below, that's not the case. It's just a case of misdirected, impulsive, and foolish vitriol
Now onto the review of the game itself, which is what comments should be used for on this site.
...Meh. It's all right. The music is repetitive, but it gets the job done. There's lag at the beginning of each stage, but actual game play is fine. It's a good timewaster for maybe half an hour.
It's really not that challenging overall, and that's alright. I would probably use this game as a way to introduce someone into the genre of bullet hell. Easy enough not to frustrate, hard enough to engage, and it uses some pretty standard mechanics that you'll find in most bullet hell games.
Should you play it? If you feel like it, go for it, that's all I can say.
