not bad, just get that scrolling arrow fixed ok? i was never really good at the game in the first place! ^_^

ARROW KEYS TO MOVE AND SPACE TO SHOOT!
I made this in my spare time! I'm new to game programming and Asteroids is fairly simple, so I gave it a shot!
This was all made by me and yes the misspelling is intentional, pesky copyright.

Good but sometimes it scrolls down. and full screen would be nice.

I removed most of that because I wasn't sure how Newgrounds handled HTML 5, I may put it back in.
Was a lot better than I expected but still lacks the power to keep you playing longer than a minute.
- turning is slow which means if you started out in a certain direction you won't be able to turn around fast enough
- the meteors don't collide
- sometimes a new level starts with a meteor next to you and on collision course. Instant death
- too easy to destroy meteors: once they split the small parts move apart so slowly that you can just keep shooting and the whole comet is gone.
The game has no pause button...rookie's mistake.

Fair points, it was just a simple beginner's game, but I'll keep all this in mind if I decide to do a similar game.
No pause button = did the original asteroids have a pause button?
