Metroid inspired open world platformer created for #lowrezjam(32×32 pixels limit).
You have crash-landed on a desolate planet. Perhaps the long abandoned ruins not far from your crash sight will provide some hope of escaping. Explore a large open underground complex. Search for power-ups to boost your weapon’s strength or increase your mobility allowing you to explore deeper.
update 5/27: Due to popular demand, an alternate player control scheme has been added.

I liked it, but the controls are so weird
Hmm, the game ended without giving me a chance to go and find all the secrets. And then not only can I not reload, there's no way to even start a new game, even when I refresh.
Any chance you'd consider releasing the map for this game?
The graphics are painful,, but it just adds to the charm. Its a great game, but I just died because I was a pixel away from lava, so there is bugs.
Really enjoyed it, as I got used to the zoomed out graphics. The layout of the level is well balanced, not too easy nor too difficult. I agree with headacheshyguy, I would liked to explore more. Maybe you should add a sign marking the level out ship. Loved it!
