There's a slight lag from when you press the arrow keys, but not when you do a bad move. Always. You could update the dying effect a bit.
The game is set in an old style home computer environment. Namely the 1981 Texas Instruments Home Computer also known as the TI-99/4A.
Move the snake around and eat apples to proceed to the next level. There will be a few changes along the way, like pears and lemons, increase in speed, length of snake etc.
Have fun. ;-)
Updates:
* You can go backwards and crash into yourself. To make the game appear more responsive.
* Die effect updated to dust cloud (was blood pool).
* Game over emphasized.
* Arrow key control system updated.
The game was released this year in cartridge format for the 1981 TI-99/4A Home Computer.

Controls not sensitive enough. Didn't always respond to my commands.
