Welp, I'm happy for the main character.
Or sorry that it happened. One a these two.
Ight, jokes aside, this was... alright. I would've liked to have a bit more input than to only be able to select one of a few non-sequitors that don't appear to impact the story by much, which I assume might be the point? I'll just say this, the Listener seems a bit rude, saying "we're the worst" for having our idea... out of hand (either on the floor or just an illusion), and the Evil (who is a sheep, maybe there's some reference with the whole "we're the sheep of the Lord, our shepherd", or the whole "wolf in sheep's clothing" thing) apparently does have some different replies?
Eh, sadly, for the amount of choices there seem to be, this game moves too slowly for me to want to explore all possibilities. Also I kinda don't care much for "Us", besides them not being human, probably, all the non-sequitors that make up the thinnest excuse of a conversation don't exactly make for the most gripping character around. So, I'll probably never find the "good ending", if there even is one. But hey, at least it's living up to your words about the ending.
So basically, neat story I guess, it goes for a cryptic take on everything about it for no discernable reason (I guess story-based games liked to do that to stand out back then?), and it goes on for a little too long for me to poke around a bit more.
If you're still active, then I assume you'll say that this is fautastic or smth idk.
Edit: Ok, so I happened to find the choices that led me to more meaty conversations! I think I got a better grip at the story... and the good ending's name? "Jai guru de va om" - "Glory to the teacher of God", a hindu mantra from a Beatles' song, Across the Universe, mostly about John Lennon and his personal life.
Oh, but don't get me wrong, most of my criticism still applies.
