This is the demo for my interactive comic, Apathy Project. This was done for school, so it's not the most refined thing in existence, given our time constraints. Still, I hope you enjoy!

It's a very well done reading! You've got me hooked to figure out what happens next! Beautiful art too!~

I enjoyed reading this story because it has elements from both the reality and fantasy.

To actually get the game going, after clicking 'initialize' I had to right click and select Forward on the first screen, where the phone is waking him (and this happened on a replay, too). After that, the game played normally, letting me click on things. Unfortunately, I would call this a motion-comic better for the video area than the game area, unless some form of game-play is integrated afterward.
Anyway, it's well made, and I enjoyed the mystery element you put into the writing. The art is somewhat expressionist and stark, although some cells in the screens are hard to figure out what I'm seeing. The feel is of a well made game, graphically and in story. I understand that he is too busy to take a moment and delete the app during the day, and then it tells him that he can not during a game.
I hope you make some other chapters soon.

The art is beautiful but the storytelling needs a lot of work. You're practically telling the viewer what will happen next every time the character says what he thinks won't happen next.

He says he needs to delete the app later three times (which wasn't too believable as i can't understand why he wouldn't immediately try to delete it) and then of course he can't delete it. Later he says it probably wants you to think you'll die in real life, then someone dies in real life.

I shouldn't know what's going to happen before each thing happens.

It sounds really interesting, but I don't like demos, plus I can't figure out the controls. I just can't get past the ringing phone - I tried clicking, spacebar, enter, all keys... I gave up.
