This game is a basic horizontal shooter that is functional. It has sound effects, functional bombs, and an attack pattern that isn't predictable and requires hand-eye coordination/reflexes as opposed to pattern memorization, which I like.
However, there is just one game screen and one enemy, with minimal of anything else.
You don't die when you collide into the enemy. This may be an undesirable feature. However, the enemy shots will likely destroy the player anyway since they spawn right on top of the player.
You can get the second pattern such that the enemy never shoots at the very top since the pattern seemed to be fixed at that point. It’s also easy if you rush the enemy ship down.
It is a prototype that you can definitely work with.
