Agreed. What the hell happened to good ol' TV? I'll be honest, I stopped regularly watching TV back around... 1997? Just... everything that was good was starting to get dropped in favor of monotonous and/or AGGRESSIVELY average crap. At least all the good stuff was no longer being broadcast, right? ¬.¬

To top it off, the few good shows that were still worth watching were getting CANCELLED (I'm looking DIRECTLY AT YOU, Sonic: SatAM). Once Animanaics were gone and Tiny Toons stopped syndication, that was mostly it for me. At least until Doctor Who returned and I (re)discovered Top Gear. Suddenly, I had reasons to watch TV again... and then I stopped receiving ANY of those channels.

These days, I mostly catch the occasional game show, or episodes of Death in Paradise with my housemate's mom, or some backwards Kaiju flick or Svengoolie. Every once in a while, I can sneak an episode or two of Aggretsuko, as well, but that hasn't happened for a while.

Sadly, I've been getting re-runs of TV shows that I like and there are some shows that truly interest me, but I don't feel like watching television because none of the current shows interest me anymore and I seem to be always busy. Hence, I either prefer to watch content created on YouTube or at least try to create something that fascinates me and brings out the passions from myself.
