This is great, the simplistic storyline gives me the impression this is like a newspaper comic come to life hahahaha.
You could stand to add a good few frames and effects, but your animation style looks pretty work-heavy so I understand why you might have had to cut some of the smoothness, reactions and minor details out.
It must have taken a lot of dedication to produce this, im interested to see what you make; if you lean into a realistic look or you develop your own style.
