I like the animation, and the sound/music works with the piece. I wasn't too into the poem, tbh, though I don't really have any suggestions for improving it. Maybe it was a bit long, or too subdued? Or maybe the VA could have gone for a different take? Not sure, I ain't one of them fancy art fellas, so I can't say for certain what kind of polish it needed.
The animation/art was good. It kind of looked like it was done with a mouse, but in a good way, lol. I personally like that style, especially when it's well done (like this), though I feel like it must take forever. I do almost think maybe you could have used *less* frames and given it a sort of "fast motion comic" feel, that might have had an even better aesthetic with less work. I dunno, though, I think you'd only want to attempt that if you were advertising a webcomic (maybe one with light animation, which is always fun).
Anyway, the important thing here is great work getting this done! (that's more than most people can say, and is definitely something to be proud of). Also important, take everything I said with a grain of salt (especially the criticisms, lol), cause I'm literally just some guy. Keep it up, you've clearly got talent, so I'm confident you can get shit done :D
