I pay my bills doing storyboards of this format for TV cartoons, they're intended to be animated over by another studio when done for work. I make original animatic films like this one to keep my portfolio fresh when looking for gigs.

If you don't fuck with this format it makes sense, but the bare-minimum movement is entirely purposeful and by design. Full-on animation with color does nothing to net you work as a storyboard artist whatsoever. I've got dozens of fully animated/colored toons on here too if that's what you're lookin for!

If you're a youngin' hoping to work in LA animation one day, you might wanna get used to looking at these lmao.
