Awww, you're too sweet. I hope you are showered with many many kisses. Mwah (kiss sound).
i really like teh sketchy style
I skip the 'clean-up' step largely for this kinda visual flavor (not to mention that I'm lazy). Thank you!
The ambience is excellent
Wooo! Thank you!
Very unique style of animation! I've never seen a style like it before. the grimy feeling of shading, color, and highlights really sets the mood for the hostile work environments. I feel for the robots. Good job!
Holy flombis, I don't think I ever could've dreamed of a more beautiful string of words! I sincerely appreciate it!
Really, the only downside to this art style combined with the hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation is that it takes forever to produce. This animation alone took me around two months of near-constant work to make, from the initial concept down to the last render. I'm putting as much time as possible into my current animated project, but it's still likely months away from seeing the light of day.
All of that said, it's a labor love. I don't know where this effort will take me in the future, but comments like yours really help me justify the commitment. You have touched my heart, random internet friend.
:)
why is this lighthearted despite its depressing backdrop setting?
I don't wanna get too pretentious with my answer, so I'll just say it's because I like both grimy art and silly cartoon shenanigans. Who doesn't like some animated goofiness every now and then?
